Weiss Lake Crappie Rodeo

There will be a total of 1006 tagged crappie released in Weiss Lake. The Crappie Rodeo will start February 1st and end April 15th. The tagged crappie this year will be worth from $50 to $10,000 including 52 $1000 fish. The color of the $50 to $1000 tags will be Red so if you catch one of these fish before February 1st please release it. The color of the $10k tags will be released at a later date.

Make sure you get your 2020 Crappie Rodeo badge before you go fishing after February 1st. The badge is just $15 and will last the entire CR and it includes your WLIA membership for 2020. The badges will be available at most marinas and retailers around Weiss Lake by late January.
